Victoria Stutzer

Hi! I’m Victoria, welcome! Allow me to introduce myself…I’m a wife, mom, daughter, sister, friend, former teacher, and an unofficial organized baker! It’s also fair to let you know, I call it like it is, am not the best at having a filter and kind of talk like a sailor…not my best quality, but hey, it’s me. My husband and I moved to St. Simons Island, Georgia with our two children five years ago after living a lifetime in Miami. We, along with our business partner, own a restaurant here on the island, so food is a big part of our life. Although I help with the restaurant and special events, that is basically the hubby’s domain.

In addition to most of the kid related stuff at home, I also do a number of side gigs. One of them is I help organize spaces for people, especially kitchen spaces: cabinets, pantries, utensil drawers, etc. Kitchens are my focus because they are the heart of the home. My approach is that an organized space should be beautiful, but it is even more important that it be functional. Since I cook every night and am constantly in the kitchen I make sure it is organized in a way that really works while cooking and truly makes sense. Also, it helps people maintain that level of organization when it is functional.

Believe in yourself! If cauliflower can become pizza, you can do anything!

Another little side hustle of mine is baking. Years ago I baked for families and friends, especially during the holidays, and it has organically turned into a growing business. Come holiday season I fill many orders, including some corporate gifts and ship goodies both nationally and internationally. Although there are a number of items I bake, my tried and true item is my KahlĂșa Cake. It is what started out as gifts for others and has evolved into taking over my oven for weeks at a time during the holidays.

I created this space to share not only a little bit about myself but to help inspire you with ideas, recipes, and just general tips and suggestions. I also share stories to help encourage you to pursue whatever side hustle you’re thinking about and help motivate you to create the life you want. I often joke with my husband, about how we are scrappy and somehow just make things happen…definitely a quality that comes in handy in the unpredictable world of being an entrepreneur. By no means is this a space of the perfect Instagram filter world….sometimes things are styled and beautiful and other times I’m merely getting by. It’s doing my best in a life full of surprises, trying to appreciate the humor of it all. So I want to share that outlook and approach with all of you.
